Getting Started - Students

Initial Class Registration

Registering for the EDGT website is easy. Your instructor will provide you with a Student-Access- Key. Using the Student-Access-Key given to you by your instructor, complete the registration process following the steps listed below: 
  1. Access the EDGT website at www.edgt.com.
  2. Click on the REGISTER tab on the upper right side of the EDGT home page.
  3. Click on the Register With Your Access Key button and complete the following steps
    1. Click the radio button in front of the statement I am a student.
    2. Enter the Student-Access-Key given to you by your instructor.
    3. Review your class information. If the information listed does not look familiar to you, use the back button to verify or change the Student-Access-Key you entered. If your class information is correct, click Next to continue.   
    4. Designate a username and password. Fill out the form as requested, then press Next.  Please use only letters and numbers in your username and password. PLEASE DO NOT use special characters, such as #, $, *, @, etc.
    5. Fill out the form on screen to provide us with the information we need to know about you and then click next. Be sure to include your zip code.

Providing Valid Information

Please provide us with a valid e-mail address and zip code to assure that you will receive your initial e-mail registration confirmation and future e-mails from EDGT. In addition, you can now use the e-mail address and zip code you used in the registration process to retrieve forgotten usernames and passwords.
  1. You have given us a valid zip code and a valid e-mail address.
  2. Your email account is currently active and your e-mail address is spelled correctly.
  3. There is sufficient room in your e-mail account to receive new e-mails.
  4. If necessary, place e-mails from EDGT.com on your list of acceptable e-mails. To send you information, we use the following e-mail addresses: info@edgt.com and support@edgt.com.
  5. Keep in mind that you can change your e-mail address in your account whenever you like. You can obtain free e-mail accounts from Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo, and Google.
  6. A summary screen will appear on screen containing the information you have given us. We will send a copy of this information to the e-mail address you provided. We suggest that you print this screen for future reference. When you return again to the EDGT website, you will need to use the username and password you designated during this registration process.
  7. You may now start using the EDGT Website.

Accessing and Using EDGT Online


When returning to the EDGT website, please do the following:
  1. Access the EDGT website at https://www.edgt.com.
  2. Click on the LOGIN tab on the upper right side of the EDGT home page.
  3. Follow the directions on screen to use the option you selected.

Inactive Students

We delete students who have not been active for 12 months. However, you can register again on the site as long as your school still has access to any of the EDGT tutorials.

If you are having any difficulties using our website, please ask your instructor for the EDGT Technical Solutions, check the Technical Support section on our home page, or send an e-mail to us at support@edgt.com. If you send us an e-mail, be sure to provide us with your first and last names, your instructor, and the name of your school. 

Multiple Instructors

You can change your current account to link to another instructor or to multiple instructors or to a different student group for your current instructor. This way you can continue to use the same username and password even though you have more than one instructor.

This will link you to multiple at the same time.
  1. Ask your new instructor for a Student-Access-Key.
  2. Log into your current account.
  3. Click My Instructors.
  4. Type in the new instructor's Student-Access-Key.
  5. Click Submit
This method allows all instructors linked to your account to see your test scores. When you log into your account, if you click on the My Instructors button, you will see all the instructors to which you are currently linked.

Our office hours are 9 AM to 4 PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday. We are not in the office in the evenings or on weekends, but we do check our e-mails periodically. E-mail is the best way to reach us.
